Bar Money was one of the first stallions to win the distinction of AQHA Supreme Champion. His first crop of colts of 1965 made him a Leading Sire of Two Year Old ROM Qualifiers of the AQHA in 1967, earning this same recognition for years to come. He was also recognized as A Leading Sire of Show ROM Qualifiers, A Leading Sire of AQHA Champions, A Leading Sire of Halter and Performance Horses, A Leading Maternal Grandsire of Race ROM Qualifiers throughout his stallion career. He points, 116 Amateur Working points, 563 Open Halter points and 35 Youth Halter points. He sired 13 AQHA Champions and is the maternal grandsire of 4 more AQHA Champions. Bar Money's sire, Three Bars, is one of the all- time great foundation sires of the quarter horse breed. |
